Can Auto Copy of journal be used to hide segments?Like in the case of "create view" for sql plus to hide columns from end user?

Auto Copy feature cannot be compared with Views.
You can create multiple views on a table, some one restricted columns, while others with filtered rows, yet others with both filtered rows and filtered columns.
Auto Copy feature will simply copy the whole batch with a different name. You can specify a different period and different effective date for the target batch as well if you like.
Both things cannot be compared. Apples and oranges.
