whenever i launch any request it shows"Inactive ,No Manager"and wen i ogout and login again then the request is processed i.e. its complete either Normal or error.but i m not able to do any task instantly also is there any Profile option Changes to be made b4 generating Reccuring journal bcoz when i m clicking the generate button its showing some error regarding profile option saying u do not have previlege acess to any operating unit pls check profile option Mo:Security option.someone plzzz help.i m stuck canot proceed further. thanks

Create an Operating Unit. even a dummy one. Then, provide this value for the Profile Option MO: Operating Unit at site level. The system needs at least one OU, in order for it to generate recurring JEs.

Regarding the concurrent requests, could you stop the application services and start them again. This may resolve the problem.

Looks like you have posted two issues:

Please treat them as two issues. They do not seem to be related together.
As for the issue 2, please create an operating unit and attach it to your responsibility using the profile option MO: Operating Unit. Follow initial videos of Payables (1-18). These videos will give you an operating unit concept in detail as well as show you how to create one.
About issue 1, your concurrent manager seems to be down. Go to your operating unit shell and restart the concurrent manager by issuing the command:
adcmctl.cmd start apps/apps
The installation videos show you how to do that.
Before issuing the above command I would verify if concurrent manager is really down by issuing the command:
adcmctl.cmd status apps/apps
