FRM-92050: Failed to connect to the Server: 16 Years, 3 Months ago  
I am at the last stage of installation. I get an error (FRM-92050: Failed to connect to the Server:/forms/lservlet:-1)everytime I click on a link to an oracle form. Any ideas??:(

Looks like your form server is down.

Stop all application services and restart them. See if the problem persists.

./adstpall.sh apps/apps
./adstrtal.sh apps/apps

I have my forms server running properly but it still gives the same error. However it works fine on Firefox. The issue may be related to the IE. If it IE 8 12.1.1 will not work. It is a known issue.

There is a workaround. Try this.

In IE:

Tools --> Internet Options --> Security --> Custom level
Settings --> At the very end (3rd from last) disable xss filters.

It works.

You could have used Mozzila Firefox as a browser, instead.

gavrobere!! You are so right. I had the same problem, but when I used Mozilla FireFox,
everything worked without changing the settings or
Programming. Though u have to make sure
that u have installed Java
ie."oaj2se". Thanks guys.
