Need help connecting to TOAD 13 Years, 4 Months ago  
Hi all,

I'm using the following credentials to connect to TOAD using direct connection.
user/password : apps/apps
Host : linux.server
port : 1521
service name : PROD

I'm not able to connect to the database. Can some one please help me out.

Hellos,
TOAD will connect only with schema of the database of Oracle EBS. You can connect with GL/GL or any appropriae schema.

"I'm not able to connect to the database. " is a very generic statement. What is the error you are getting?
Perform the tnsping from your client machine and see if you can see the database server.
Create an entry in the tnsnames.ora file and use that to connect to the database.
