R12 installlation on external HDD 13 Years, 2 Months ago  
Hi, is it possible install r12 on usb connected external hard disk. if so can u explain the steps to follow

suggested the following in your situation:
Install VirtualBox software directly on C
Create Virtual Machine on external hard disk
All the remaining steps remain the same.

The system will be slightly slower as it is running of the external drive but still you should be able to use it.

Linux installation and Oracle installation steps would remain the same as from inside the virtual machine it is seamless weather your virtual machine is running off C or D.
