Segment Value Screen DFF 12 Years, 6 Months ago  
Please advice me in fresh install Oracle Application when I enter values in Qualifiers in Segment value screen I get a pop-up screen. Please see attachment.Please help me why do I see this screen. Thank you.

Hi Skyblue,

I understand your point and you are correct.
But Oracle has enabled this Descriptive Flexfield(DFF) by default just in case you might need it for some information purposes.
You can now switch it off by either going to General Ledger> Setup>Descriptive>Segments:then press F11 and enter under Appliaction: Application Object Library and under Title enter Flexfield Segments Values. Then press CTRL + F11.
Uncheck Freeze Flexfield Definition and Displayed and uncheck FND_TX_CLASSES and FND_TX_GROUPS.
I believe you will not see the pop up window again in your segment value window.

I agree with jgood. This is a popup coming from DFF. Simply disable it.
