Dear Hasan

I was trying to install R12 on Mac OS X, and done smooth right until:
Mounting into /home/Oracle/media as a root user.
I exit as instructed and issue a command
Oracle@linux~] ls
I see the media among the listing
BUT when I issue CD MEDIA, it says
bash: cd:media: Permission denied
Please Help.....

Officially I am only supporting Windows based installations, as Mac is an un-chartered territory for me. F
rom the error message it looks like the shared folder is not configured properly. Please repeat the steps to do that. That should resolve the issue.
