SYSTM password and login as sysdba 12 Years, 9 Months ago
|

I don't remember we created system password in the installation lesson. Today I tried to connect to database as system using sqlplus, the account got locked because I tried too many times. I try to login as sysdba to unlock SYSTEM user. but I got insufficient privilege error. I have two question:
1) what's the default pass word for system user?
2) I am login to unix as 'Oracle'. I noticed in the unix there is no group called 'dba'. How can I make this command work 'sqlplus / as sysdba'? Currently, I got this error "ORA-01017: insufficient privileges"
Thanks,
Kate
