AR Payment Terms for Transaction is NULL 12 Years, 8 Months ago
Hello Hasan,

While entering an AR Transaction, I have a minor problem.
The Payment Terms field within the Transcation field is NULL. There are NO values in the LOV for this field.
.
Important...
Please review the document attached to understand the issue in DETAIL.
.
Is this happening within your enviroment ?
Is this a bug or something I am NOT doing correctly.
.
I'm hoping this is happening to you as well.
.
Thank-you
Charlie

If balance forward billing is enabled then payment terms do not appear.
Please confirm if Balance Forward Billing is not enabled. You can find that under account profile tab.

Hi Hasan,

Customer Profile Class = "Default"
For this profile class the Balance Forward Billing is NOT enabled.
.
Based on the example provided in the WORD document that I attached in my earlier post. Why does it work for the SAME customer sometimes and not another time.
For the SAME customer, the site for Account1 works, however the site for Account2 does not work. Strange.
.
Please review the WORD document I provided.
.
ps.
The Balance Forward Billing I can't find.
Is it part of the Customer or Account or AddressSite ?
Please help narrow down the search.
.
Sinerely,
Charlie

Sorry...

I did eventually locate the reference to Balance Forward Billing for both the Accounts defined for the same Customer.
.
The Balance Forward Billing is DISABLED for both Accounts.
Are you able to recreate the scenerio in your enviroment to see if this is happening to you.
Please view the document containing the simple example that I have created in my enviroment.
.
Thanks
Charlie

It it is not that it is working for the customer sometimes and not the other. It is working for account1 and not for account 2.
In your document you have not attached the setups for the two accounts. Is there anything different between the two accounts in terms of setup? Is it happening only to this customer or to all customers with multiple accounts?

I'll get the screen shots for these 2 accounts soon.
Sometime in the next 1-2 days... as I have some important things to do 1st.... :)
.
It is happening to any Customer that has 2 accounts and each account having 1 Address Site.

Hello Hasan,

I took screen shots for both Account1 and Account2
I can't see anything that would cause this problem
Maybe you can see something I overlooked.
.
Can you reproduce this SIMPLE scenerio yourself.
1 Customer
2 Accounts..... 1 Address per Account (Primary BILL-TO)
...
Next create a AR Transaction...
In the Payment Terms field when using Account2
you will NOT see any TERMS.
However, when using Account1, you WILL see TERMS.
.
Strange !!

Thank-you so much
Charlie
I've been looking at this for OVER a week... and can't resolve this.
.
Hope you can confirm it is happening on your site as well...
.
Sinerely,
Charlie

Hello Hasan,

The screen shots for Account1 and Account2 for the same customer had to be split into 2 files...
.
Can you reproduce this SIMPLE scenerio and see if it works for you.
.
1 Customer
2 Accounts... 1 address per Account
.
Account2 will not show any TERMS when entering a Transaction.
.
Account1 works fine.
.
Is this a BUG ?

I dont have this issue at my end. There is a known bug related to this issue which kicks in when you enable balance forwarding.
