I somehow able to configure linux on my own for i posted a thread before. but I am now stuck
in verifying the oracle stage. You mentioned in verify oracle stage video that i need to download a file from your website - the md5 file which is necessary for verification. but I went back to the video of downloading oracle applications where you havnt mentioned any thing about this file. so please advise whether I can download that file now and and again create the oracle stage. I really appreciate your reply at earliest convenience. Thank you very much.

First of all it is good to verify the stage. It is not required as such. If there is a corruption in stage your installation will fail miserably. Then you can delete the installation directory and restart the installation after fixing the underlining issue.
Coming to your question I did not quite understood the problem. Yes you can download the md5 file now and use it to verify the stage. The file could be downloaded anytime even after the downloading of the main files.

I agree with Chanran that in your installation videos you did not mentioned about the md5 file until now when it comes to verifying Oracle stage.

Sorry for the late reply. All we need to do is take this file to the stage area and run the verification command. You can store it at My_DAP_Downloads as well. This way it is easily copied over to Linux. You can download the file directly from Linux as well. How the file is going to the stage area is not that important but the file has to reach there.
I would download the file into My_DAP_Downloads so that it is automatically picked up by the unzip command that is run to create the stage.
