starting oracle 12 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi All, I install EBS and I tried to start it the first time. I went through the process till script command which is ./adstrtal.sh apps/apps. Error occurred, that is, existing with status 1. Explanation is that either the database is down or the apps credentials supplied are wrong. I know credentials are right. How do I bring the database up to running. Thanks.

In the videos I have shown you the process of bringing up the database. You issue the command: addbctl.sh start Also you have to bring the database listener up: addlnctl.sh start PROD The database service and the listener have to be started first before you can start application services.
