Starting oracle application the first time 12 Years, 2 Months ago
I installed oracle financial with all checks green with nor error. When I tried to start the app the first time it shows exiting with status 9. The lecture says it is suppose to be zero. The error says it is connected to idle instance; sga is not a legal integer for session cached cursors. Failure in processing system parameters. What went wrong and what should I do to correct this.
Thank you.

Please specify which service ends at status 9. Please post the actual error message (along with error number if any). Thanks.
Also provide the exact SGA settings that you specified in the parameter file.

Thanks for the response, it says
-Connected to an idle instance
-LRM-00104 sga is not a legal integer for session cached cursor
-ORA-01078 Failure in processing system parameters Disconnected.

addbctl.sh exiting with status 9

That is all it says. Thank you.

Thanks. You did not provide an answer to this question:

"Also provide the exact SGA settings that you specified in the parameter file."
