I got the error RW-50015. I followed your post on the other thread and tried following.

Deleted all lines after - 127.0.0.1 linux.server linux in /etc/hosts


I have tried to restart the services and got the below error and same is there in adstpall.sh log as well.

Log:
adstpall.sh: Database connection could not be established. either the database is down or the APPS credentials supplied are wrond
USAGE: adstpall.sh <appsusername/appspassword>

adstpall.sh: exiting with status 1

Can you please let me know what need to be done for this.

Also, i am stopping the installation for now..

I am so sorry for the late reply. I was not available since last few days.
About your question, you are getting this error because you are starting middle tier services before starting the database services.
In the installation videos I have clearly shown how to start the services in a right sequence.
First you have to bring the database and listener up. These are the two services that belong to the database node. Only then you can start middle tier (or application tier) services by issuing the command adstpall.sh.

Yes, i realized that later and i have tried to start the services but getting an error. I have started another thread for the same error 'unable tp start services'.
