Following video 26 in e-business tax I have entered a revenue journal and calculated exclusive tax that has left the journal unbalanced. Do we enable suspense posting in order to post this journal? Your video also shows an unbalanced journal therefor you would get the same error message as well when posting (Error6 - Showing an unbalanced journal entry but suspense not allowed).
Can you kindly advise on the correct process going forward

No we dont enable suspense posting for these kind of issues.
The debit and credit amounts must be balanced.
If they are not, then you need to make them balanced.
If your case you will increase the debit side to 120.
Just add 20 to your Cash account or create a new debit
line to add 20 to some other account based on the
business requirements.
In GL you need to take care of both debit and credit sides.
However in subledgers like AP, AR etc you only take
care of one side and system automatically generates the other
side.
