Ebiz installation on Windows 7 64 bits 11 Years, 11 Months ago

Hi,
Thanks for good installation videos. Hasan Mir knows very well how to get installation done.
Now about problem, I am facing.
I am installing E-biz on my windows laptop. Everything went very well. I followed Hasan's instruction. E-biz got installed successfully. I also tested log in page using sysadmin.
At this point, I made one (minor) mistake. I shutdown virtual machine, without stopping db, apps services. After this point my virtual box is not starting.
I am curious to know if there is any posting, video about how to start fresh installation. Now I have all files downloaded.
I was also not able to revert to snapshots. As Hasan instructed, I took 2 snapshots during installation.
Thanks,
Vijay

Hi,
I made good progress about this issue. I uninstall virtual box, removed few directories, then re-install everything (Virtualbox, linux, ebiz) it went well.
Now I have probably last problem. I am NOT able to open application from my host browser. I disable firewall, change hosts (per video) but, browser still give error "This page can't be displayed".
Any idea?

It finally worked. I need to change my network preference to Host-only Adapter from Bridge Adapter. Also I found 4 files, named host, hosts. I added IP entry in all of them. Sometime later I will remove entries one by one to see which one worked. I found host and hosts files of different file types. One was text, umbrella, iCalendar file (not sure how it came and got associated with iCalendar).
Hopefully it help somebody else in same situation.

Thanks for the detailed post and sorry I could not attend it earlier to help you out. Good to know that your system is up and running now. Please do take a virtual machine snapshot now.
