The functional steps would be formulated based on the exact business requirements and the context of the business. In general the suppliers could be loaded through the API. Only those suppliers are technically required for which open invoices exist. However the business may require you to import all the active suppliers. Other entities that you wish to associate with suppliers (e.g. GL accounts, bank accounts, terms etc) must already exist in the system. You must create one supplier site for each operating unit in which the supplier will be used. Each site must be marked with appropriate "business purpose".

Hi Hasan,
Are you implying that the Functional Consulting is also responsible for using the API and populating the Supplier and Supplier Sites table in the backend ?
I thought the Technical person would do that, and the functional person would simply direct and verify the results.
Am I wrong ?
Thank-you
Charlie

Providing steps would be a very detailed task and it is beyond the scope of this forum. If you wish to see how an interface work than please see the GL INTERFACE videos. Step 1) Locate the right document for Supplier Interface 2) Load the date into the required columns 2) Run the concurrent program to import the data. After few rounds of testing you should be able to get a hang of how interface works. You will need database access to the interface table.
