Creating Sub-Inventory Organization 11 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi Hassan,

When following Vidoe 15 creating sub inventory organization i can see that i have to provide the following accounts, in your tutorial these fields are greyed out ?

1. Outside Processing
2. Material Overhead - which is part of the tutorial so i am fine with this
3. Overhead
4. Resource
5. Expense
6. Encumbrance

Can you please advise if i have done something wrong for all the other fields to be displayed?

Are you using Vision demo or a Fresh install?
Where is your application hosted? at your site or are you using a shared sandbox service?

Hi Hassan,

This is my box at home and has been configured as per your instructions..

This is not a Vision install as you quoted that is no good for learning Oracle.

I have found this information which i think is acting differently to yours....

Ref: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e13450/T291651T291796.htm#T291821
Standard costing: For standard costing (and Oracle Bills of Material is installed), all asset accounts are required. If you use standard costing, and Oracle Bills of Material is not installed, you are only required to enter the Material and Material Overhead accounts.

I believe we are using standard costing in our demonstrations and i have looked in oracle license manager and bill of material is licensed...

I have set up the relevant assets accounts and have moved forward from this issue now.

kind regards
Balwinder

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It has to be something different on my side. May be the license manager settings.
