hi, I am trying to create Ledger by myself. I am at the Ledger options screen, where Retained Earning Account field is required. I am entering my accounts number but I got error message that Posting is not allowed. i have check all the steps carefully as per lectures. but could not find any issue.
any one please any thoughts.

Sorry for the late reply. When you create segment values in the natural account segment you specify options like posting allowed, budgeting allowed etc. Please enable posting allowed for your retained earnings account segment value.
