Managing Categories: Default Category 15 Years, 8 Months ago  
Journals > Enter > New Journal.
How to ensure that I always automatically have a default Category on my Enter Journal screen whenever I access it. I noticed that in the tutorial, Hasan’s Enter Journal screen is automatically filled with a default Category as “Adjustment”. I screen doesn’t give me this default Category. Why is this? Is it a bug?

I was using Vision Instance initially then I jumped to fresh install.
I believe in Vision Instance the profile option "Journals: Default Category" is set to Adjustment. You can set this profile option to any category.
