Thank-you, but that is not what I was hoping for.
I want to remain in the Code Combinations screen and view my GL accounts in some order.
Is there a way of doing that ?

Thanks

I think it is not possible to view the accounts in the Code Combinations screen, in some order such as by COMPANY, NATURAL ACCOUNT and finally by DEPTNO.
As you may be aware, there is no any function buttons on the Account Combination screen, to ensure such an order from there.

Yea.. I noticed that. I thought there might be a way. Too bad.
Someone at Oracle should place an ordering on the segments that make up the COA. Segment Number should be used.. IMO...

Oh well.. another undocumented feature of Oracle hehe :)

Thanks anyway.

What business need is making you want to see segments in different order on Combinations screen?

Currently there is no business need, however, I can't even tell if there exists an order in the Code Combination screen.

Is there a sorting order within this screen (default ordering) ?

Thanks

Hasan's response is to say there is no such orders you specified in your question in this thread. Charlie, sorry there is no order that way on the account combination screen!

You can export to Excel and do the sorting there. File->Export.
